New York Pizza and Subs in Greensboro

Ordered mac and cheese bites. They were amazing until I found a piece of bacon in them. I'm a vegetarian.

Was just there today and the gentleman there was very kind and accommodating. Even cut my pizza into smaller pieces for the kiddos!

Born and raised in Central NY, but just moved to Greensboro after 8+ yrs in MT. This is the closest to NY pizza I've had in 9 years. It was great!

I really like this place. Hadn't been in years. Had forgotten how good it was. Slice of cheese pizza is my favorite in Greensboro. Different flavor than Elizabeth's and Mario's. Might be the oregano.

Good pizza and fries. Ordered through grub hub while in town for work. Little expensive for what I got, but the food was solid. Would order again!

This pizza use to be better. I have had cheesy New York style there that was fold style NY pizza. But not this time. I go when I have a coupon for b1g1. Very disappointed this time. This pizzas had very little flavor. Not enough cheese and very little marinara sauce. What happened? Did they not give me the pizza I would have gotten if I didn't have a coupon. I watched them make the pizzas and I should have asked for more sauce and cheese. Lesson learned. Is the competition makingbetter pizzas? Tried hearing pizza in microwave and oven to see if pizza would have slide off drippy cheese. Not so. Wheres the cheese? Very disappointed. Why doesn't Greensboro have restaurants that make consistently delicious food. That we can depend on?

Very tasty pizza, I tried the one with pesto sauce and veggies with garlic and was really awesome! Staff is friendly, Bar is cool and has bands playing on certain days. Must try!!!

The pizza side at night is hit or miss but they do have live music. It feels more like a club at night and a pizza place during the day. I would say that the pizza is average. It's a nice place to have pizza on a summer day.

Great place for a quick bite and a beer

Oddly enough one of GSO's oldest music venues. Can't beat the PBR and pizza slice deals either. Been seeing music here for over 15 years.

I must say the pizza that I got is delicious! I get off of work late at night so I was searching for a place that will still open because I had a taste for some pepperoni pizza! I called and found out they close at 1:30 in the morning so I placed my order for a medium pepperoni pizza and it was amazingly delicious! I give it five stars because the pizza was delicious and there was nothing wrong with my order at all!!

Great music venue for local artists. Its small but definitely a cool, chill spot.

The pizza was pretty good and it's a chill vibe. If you're from NY, you might disagree with the name, but overall a positive experience. The food prices are exceptionally good.

After a bad experience and a two hour wait at jets pizza, I canceled my order and called NYP which is way better pizza , NYP had my order at my business in 16mins . And they got a very pretty delivery driver.. 4 thumps of NYP..

They are supposed to b open til 12 on Wednesday’s. Tried to call at 11:15- no answer. Walked over and found the door unlocked but when we walked in we were told they now closed at 11pm. Since when? Wednesday 1-15-2020. Bummer.

I do like their pizza. But, I was so disappointed in the wings. In my opinion they were the worst I've ever had. I tried one and had to throw the rest out. If I order again I will stick to the pizza only.

Super friendly staff with great food

Do you want a great place to get some awesome pizza and to watch some awesome bands perform at the same time? Then this is it! On most nights you can catch some kind of live entertainment across all genres of music from jazz, Electronic jams, house jazz, metal, improve jams, local and national talent, alternative, bluegrass, country/southern rock, and everything else in-between! The owner is an awesome owner/operator and the bartenders are on Point. Anyone who's anyone should get down to Tate St and check out NYP!!!!

Chill place to grab a good beer and shoot pool. Good prices on the pizza as well.

To sum it up food is overpriced and not that good. The staff is not welcoming and overall a bad experience.

This Pizzeria is also a bar. It is located next to UNCG campus so it caters more to the college crowd. Even though they are 1 business, their is a separate side entrance for the pizzeria. As soon as you walk in the smell of cigarettes from the bar side hits you. Their are about 6 booths to eat it. The service was slow but then again only 1 person was working. I guess being alone doesn’t make you very friendly at all. I did however give it 3 stars because the regular pie & the white pizza we got where both great. Crust was not to thin or thick, just the right amount of cheese & sauce. The white pizza was heavy on the garlic which is perfect for my taste.

There Caprese pizza is super add peparoni and you have a magical pizza. Only place I have seen that offers this. Must try. 4 stars because no pizza place is a 5 star but this place is as close as it comes when it comes to pizza. Never had anything else there

Walked in with a coupon for a BOGO pizza from a newly purchased Attractions book. Was told the store is under new management and no longer talks said coupon. Not a great start, but I'll still order anyways. Ordered a pizza and a chicken parm sub. Pizza was ok as usual. Sub was horrific. Could only eat 1-2 bites. Chicken tasted horrible as if it was freezer burned and then some. Between new management no taking established coupons from reputable companies to serving subs that are not fresh, I will no longer be returning to this location. There are far too many other pizza locations in Greensboro, including one across the street, that I can and will be visiting.

Great food, great staff, you won't find better pizza anywhere else in Greensboro

The bar hours are listed but not the restaurant. I was looking forward to trying it but perhaps next time in daylight hours. There needs to be a linked listing for the bar, and separate for the pizza restaurant.
